Sammakka and Saralakka Jatara is held in a couple of other places other than in Medaram on the same days when the festival is observed mainly at Medaram.
One such place is Puligilla in Parakala Mandalam of Warangal District of Andhra Pradesh. A Few lakhs gather here, perhaps this has helped the main Medaram Jatara not to get too jammed up with lot many people gathering at one place at one time.
Same procedure which is followed in Medaram is also followed in this area. A few photographs taken on completion day of the Jatara is presented for your purpose.
